A Typical Week at a Glance

Each week is thoughtfully structured to balance learning, professional growth, service and rest.

Monday

Mondays are spent in class embracing how what we believe as Christians impacts our daily lives and our communities. These classes are taught by our pastoral staff and local business leaders.

Tuesday-Thursday

Fellows work paid internships three days a week. Typically, a fellow can expect to work 8 hours a day. Some jobs may be a bit more, depending on the career field.

Tuesday evenings are spent building community. Fellows plan, prepare, and enjoy a meal with members of the congregation of the host church, Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church.

Friday

Fridays are spent in professional development and service in the City of Greenville. Each Friday the Fellows experience a different part of the community they reside in. They may work in a soup kitchen on one Friday, but meet with the president of a construction company the following week. Professional development also happens on Fridays through targeted seminars. Topics typically include emotional intelligence, service, and finance.

Saturday

Fellows have Saturdays free. There are periodic times of travel to conferences or mission trips for the Fellows that encompass a weekend.

Sunday

Fellows are expected to attend one of the worship services of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church. Throughout their time as a Fellow, members of the class will find individual places to serve. Those service times may be on Sunday or with other ministries that meet at different times throughout the week.

No Two Weeks are Alike

Each week brings something new - different guest speakers, unique service opportunities and fresh experiences

in the city. Fellows grow through variety, learning to apply faith and purpose in every setting.
